This original piece is a textured work which used a variety of techniques to emulate looking up at a Jarcaranda tree in full bloom. The intensity of the purple flowers overwhelm the sky, the leaves, the bark of the branches, even as they bounce on the wind.
Completed exclusively with oil paint and pallet knife the work is bright, intense and vibrant like the jacaranda flowers.
